\n\nWhen a carpeted room smells stale and everything visible is clean, the carpet is usually the answer. Moisture and body oils work into the pile and stay there.
\nDark lines where people walk are ground-in grit, not permanent damage. Left alone the grit cuts the fibers and the wear becomes real.
\nCarpet that has been wet needs cleaning and proper drying within a day or two, or mold starts in the backing where you cannot see it.
\nCommercial leases routinely require professional carpet cleaning before handover. Getting it done properly protects the deposit.
\nCarpet traps dust rather than letting it circulate, which helps until the carpet is full. Then it releases it back with every footstep.
\n\nThis is the part that matters here. Anyone can wet a carpet. In Ho Chi Minh City humidity, a carpet left damp overnight smells worse than it did before. Extraction and airflow are the job, not an afterthought.
\nWool, nylon, polypropylene, and carpet tiles all behave differently. The wrong chemical flattens the pile or strips the color, and that does not come back.
\nOffices get cleaned in the evening or at the weekend so nobody loses a working day. Apartments get booked when it suits you.

\nHow long does carpet take to dry?
Four to eight hours with air movers running and the room closed up with the air conditioning on. Longer in the rainy season if the room cannot be sealed.
Is this the same as rug cleaning?
No. Removable rugs are a separate service and are usually cleaned off site. See rug cleaning for those. This page is for carpet that is fitted to the floor.
Can you remove old stains?
Many, but not all. Anything that has dyed the fiber, such as bleach or strong coloring, is permanent. We will tell you before we start rather than after.
Do I need to move the furniture?
Clear small items and we will move the rest. Very heavy pieces are worked around, and we put protectors under legs while the carpet dries.
Will the carpet get dirty faster afterwards?
Only if detergent is left behind. Proper rinsing and extraction is what prevents that, and it is why the drying step matters as much as the washing.
How often should office carpet be cleaned?
Every six to twelve months for a normal office. Reception and corridors need it more often than meeting rooms.
Do you clean carpet tiles?
Yes. Tiles can also be lifted and replaced individually if a few are beyond cleaning, which is often cheaper than doing the whole floor.
Can you get pet urine out?
Usually. Urine soaks through to the backing and sometimes the underlay, so it needs treating at that level, not just on the surface.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use low-residue products and the room is safe to use once the carpet is dry.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes, and for offices that is usually the sensible option.
