Fitted carpet holds everything the floor below it never shows. Street dust walked in from outside, food and drink spills, pet hair, and in this climate the damp that never fully leaves. Vacuuming lifts the surface layer and nothing else. The rest settles into the pile and the backing, where it feeds bacteria and starts to smell.

How long does carpet take to dry?
Four to eight hours with air movers running and the room closed up with the air conditioning on. Longer in the rainy season if the room cannot be sealed.

Can you remove old stains?
Many, but not all. Anything that has dyed the fiber, such as bleach or strong coloring, is permanent. We will tell you before we start rather than after.
Do I need to move the furniture?
Clear small items and we will move the rest. Very heavy pieces are worked around, and we put protectors under legs while the carpet dries.
Will the carpet get dirty faster afterwards?
Only if detergent is left behind. Proper rinsing and extraction is what prevents that, and it is why the drying step matters as much as the washing.
How often should office carpet be cleaned?
Every six to twelve months for a normal office. Reception and corridors need it more often than meeting rooms.
Do you clean carpet tiles?
Yes. Tiles can also be lifted and replaced individually if a few are beyond cleaning, which is often cheaper than doing the whole floor.
Can you get pet urine out?
Usually. Urine soaks through to the backing and sometimes the underlay, so it needs treating at that level, not just on the surface.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use low-residue products and the room is safe to use once the carpet is dry.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes, and for offices that is usually the sensible option.
